Shooting kills 3, sparks manhunt in Alabama

Police have launched a massive dragnet for an armed suspect they believe fatally shot three people in an Alabama mobile home park.

According to Gardendale Police, 51-year-old Kenneth Dion Lever shot two women and one man in a mobile home park, fled the scene and is considered armed and unsafe.

Police said Lever may be traveling in a 2007 black Lincoln Navigator with the Florida license plate: 689NFN.

Told police, 'If you see this individual do not approach and call 9-1-1.

The search for Lever initially focused in woods near the Peachtree Crossings mobile home community, where the shootings occurred, but Walker later said police believed he had left the area. "He is considered armed and unsafe", Gardendale Police said. Authorities believe the fatal shootings were domestic related, according to the news website.

In December a Jefferson County judge issued a protection from abuse order against Lever.

"We have three victims deceased on the scene, their identities can not be released at this time", Gardendale Police said on Facebook. "More information to follow".

Authorities are searching for an armed man following a shooting at an Alabama mobile home community near Birmingham.

He is current free on $200,000 bond in those cases. Dana Lever sought the protective order claiming her ex-husband was stalking and harassing them.

Lever has two pending charges of sexual abuse with a minor York County, Pennsylvania in separate cases of alleged assault, public records show.

The cases are scheduled for jury trial in York County Court of Common Pleas on September 11, according to online court dockets.
