Duda's spokesman Krzysztof Łapiński said the fact that Trump's second foreign visit since taking office was beginning with a stop in Poland "spoke volumes", adding that no other U.S. president has come to Warsaw so soon after inauguration.
The ruling party is bussing in its supporters from all over Poland, encouraging them to take part in a "great patriotic picnic" on the occasion of Trump's visit.

Polish politics has shifted right in recent years, marked by the election to government of the Law and Justice Party, a hard-right nationalist conservative party fuelled by populism, traditionalism, and Christianity - not a million miles away from Team Trump's agenda. Trump has had three phone calls with Putin since taking office.
"It's going to be huge - absolutely huge", said pro-government Polish politician Dominik Tarczynski, who is organizing a busload of Trump supporters.
But Poland promised Trump a warm welcome when inviting him for a state visit, and it is doing everything it can to manufacture adulatory crowds.
During his first foreign trip as President last May, Mr. Trump left world leaders feeling uneasy given his "America First" positions on trade and climate change. But multiple senior administration officials and people close to the White House said they didn't expect Trump to raise the issue, at least in a significant way, during his talks with Putin.
