As Uproxx explains, people in four USA markets - Chicago, Columbus, Los Angeles and Phoenix - can have McDonald's food delivered to them right now. Instead, it's the result of a partnership with UberEATS that the company said covers 1,000 restaurants in the U.S. But by partnering with Uber - which already has logistics networks built up in small, medium, and large-sized cities - McDonald's is able to bring delivery to markets like Florida and OH that typically don't have a lot of food-delivery options beyond your standard pizza or Chinese food order.
Globally, McDonald's is already one of the largest providers of delivered food in the world and has over two decades of experience in delivery.
