However, some analysts say that not including Bixby Voice in the launch of Samsung Galaxy S8 is a sign that the Korean telecommunications firm has learned from their past debacle.
Aside from Bixby, Samsung has debuted its Infinity Display innovation on the Galaxy S8 and S8+. In a new post on Twitter, Samsung Mobile India has teased the launch of its flagship phones in India on April 19, 2017. The Galaxy S8's smartphone dock comes with a $149.99 price tag, and it will be released on April 20 on Amazon, while the Samsung confirmed its shipping by the early part of May.
Of course, Samsung will not mess up the big launch this year after what happened to Galaxy Note 7.
It's important to point out that these prototypes are not being made for the consumer market as Samsung will test out the concept of foldable smartphones internally first. Customers, in love with the latest and greatest in smartphone technology, have short attention spans and seem to have forgotten the Note 7 debacle. The pre-orders in South Korea have already begun, and it appears like the fans are really liking it. Samsung said it is delaying the launch of voice-command capabilities for its Bixby voice assistant in English, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.
The new device, equipped with either 5.8-inch or 6.2-inch (14.73 cm or 15.75 cm) curved screens, sports the largest screens to date among all of Samsung's flagship phones due to a redesign.
EPA Seeks Public Comment on Which Environmental Regs to Axe
Administrator Pruitt's decision to highlight this polluting facility is deeply troubling for clean water and public health.
Kiranjeet Kaur, of IDC Asia/Pacific, said, "The news about the S8 is very positive at this point, though we have to see how numerous pre-orders translate into sales".
The arrival of the Galaxy S8 has had some setbacks too.
"The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus reached 728,000 units, as of Wednesday, in Korea".
Further, we still have to wait and see what the iPhone 8 brings to the table and when it might actually see the light of day.
Touching on the issue of the planned sales of the refurbished Galaxy Note 7, the Samsung CEO said the company is now in talks with global regulators, including those in the USA and China, as well as non-government organizations such as Greanpeace International before shipping the phone. On the same lines, this Galaxy S8 Active is also expected to be a tough device that can withstand more drops, impacts, etc.
