Wendy's recently unleashed spicy new Sriracha-covered menu items, but that's hardly the only fire the company is serving up, as evidenced by its spectacular response to a Twitter troll this week. But when someone tried to besmirch Wendy's non-frozen beef, the Twitter maven at Wendy's went to work.
"@Wendys your beef is frozen and we all know it. Y'all know we laugh at your slogan "fresh never frozen" right?"
Thuggy-D probably should have left it there but he was apparently feeling clever and made a decision to fire back at Wendy's.
A moronic Twitter user quickly took exception.
That's when Thuggy-D made a decision to divert and drag someone else into the argument.
Bills Don't Field Kickoff, Jets Recover in End Zone for TD
EAST RUTHERFORD , N.J. (AP) No Rex means a lot less luster and bluster for the latest Bills-Jets showdown. But after X-rays were taken he was upgraded to a possible return, but did not take another snap in the game.
And Wendy's absolutely owned that user. "Like you're really a joke", Thuggy-D tweeted. Apparently, it was way too hot in that kitchen and he got burned! Probably not. Wendy's was probably just tweeting its love of memes, but it picked one with an unfortunate - some would argue unfair - connotation.
One troll made a decision to question Wendy's on their claim, and it didn't end well for him.
The chain's official Twitter account has been also been apologizing to users individually.
So when Wendy's started taking their Twitter trolls to task, it at first seemed they may have been hacked. Wendy's hinted, trying to give Thuggy-D some insight into its meat storage techniques. For what it's worth, don't even ask them where to find the nearest McDonald's.
